SFF' 06, Day 4.

My rack at "Show and Tell" by Baylene and Nicholas Wong, local designers.
I did Michelli again. It was FUN. She was awesome, as usual... Haha.

Drew, settling the shoe problems. He's the assistant to Nicholas Wong. THERE'S A STORY TO HIM. I will tell you later... Today, the shoes are borrowed from ALDO. The shoes are really pretty.

My pretty shoes. NO. I'm not wearing them... Michelli is. Mine are the black ones. HAHA!

New friend #1. LiJun and I. :)

LiJun took this. She told me to portray sadness or loneliness or something. HAHA!

Michelli and Gessica. They're cool, nice people.

Models LOVEEEE to take pictures! They all have cameras. They will snap and snap and snap... Then I will snap and snap and snap for them... I'm not complaining. Taking pictures for beautiful ladies. HAHA.

Gessica, Michelli, ME and erm... Can't remember her name. I felt that I needed to like strike a pose as well when I'm with them. So... HAHAHA! I look fucking fat beside them. Haha.

The models getting ready to strut their stuff at the line-up with people doing some final touches on their hair... their make-up... Stylists walking about looking if their outfits, bows, accessories are worn properly and in the correct manner. Speaking of stylists, I saw Lionel Seah. He's a stylist. Pretty famous. See him all the time in like LIME magazine or STYLE and stuff.

Claire Danes look-a-like! Haha. Unsure of her name... She's the last in the line, and she's really quiet and she does not like mix and chat with other models. Strange... Maybe she's new? But then again, if you're new, can always make friends what, right? Haha...

Michelli and I, after the show. She's just awesome and really sweet and pretty. She asked me when are the other days I will be dressing... SO, I guess I will be dressing her again for Diane von Furstenberg and Missoni! Can't wait.... Saw the DVF clothes today. One word, GORGEOUS!

New friend #2! Bjorn and I. His name is so freaking cool. He's a local by the way... If you're wondering. He's also a year1 student from NAFA. However, he's from Visual Comm.

Designer Baylene and I. She graduated from New Zealand though. AND AND, she's really cool. She's just got this really cool persona to her. And she's there at The Tent like REALLY REALLY early to start working. She's just so bloody hardworking!! She even personally iron and steam MOST of her outfits. It's a thing that I've learn from her today. MODESTY!

Okay, NOW THE STORY ABOUT DREW.

It was the end of the show. And I was with LiJun. I went up to Nic Wong and his assistant, Drew. I merely said, "Hey, great show! Great clothes!".

Then they went like, "Oh, thanks... Thanks for your help and everything."

"No worries", I said, then I left...

LiJun was behind all the time, and when I left, SHE HEARD DREW TELLING NICHOLAS...

"I think he likes me."

WHAT THE FUCK?!!

I just MERELY congratulated them on the great show of their's, and how on earth did he derive from that, that I like him?

GOD! It's so blahdy funny!

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA.

LUNCH!

After the show, I went to meet NING. To shop around... But I was really tired though.

We were like basically around and about at Far East. We went off, went into Gramaphone at Scotts. And when we came out, TO OUR HORROR. It was RAINING!

Nice shot, huh. ;)

We were just stuck there, outside Picnic. We could not do anything. And we were there for like god knows how long. Then Ning called her sister. Then she came and fetched us home! That's nice of her to drop me right at my door step!

WE SAW A REALLY REALLY CUTE BOY! HAHAHAHA!!

He's gonna be so cute when he grows up. HAHAHA. We were like playing with him. Waving and smiling... So funny. Haha.

ALRIGHT PEOPLE. SHOWTIME'S TOMORROW!

BREAK A LEG!

And I know Montfort ELDDS is sooooooooooo gonna rock the house down at the musical! We do that at EVERY performance of ours anyway. WOO!

Bye gorgeous people.

75%

Cassidy and I! He's soo CUTE! HAHAHA. SASA!! He loves to say that too! Oh, by the way, that's the microphone I will be using at the musical. It costs about $2000!

All seated, and getting ready for the run-through.

Gabriel Patrick, Gwyn (Squawk!), and ME! I had to act tall. HAHAHA.

JuJu Power! Looking like a rabbit. HAHA!

Mark was in character, being all "father-ly". HAHA.

DARREN, our Stage Manager! He's good!

Uncle Ted, Nanas and the Princess! (a portion) At debrief.

The END.

Later in the morning... I gotta crawl up at like 7AM. Becuase I need to report to Fashion Festival at 830AM tomorrow! Baylene and Nicholas Wong's "Show and Tell".

Hope it's gonna be fun!

Skipping Vik's class AGAIN. FUCK. FOR DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES ALREADY!

SFF' 06, Day 3!

Went to school early in the morning at 930AM for History of Fashion class. Then had Fashion Details. Then went to meet Gary because he wanted to switch from LaSalle to NAFA.
Then after which, rushed to Eugene's Comms Skills because I was late and I had to leave at 330PM and Lin and Colin were waiting for me to start meeting regarding our fashion publication project that is due next TUES and we haven't got anything done!

STRIPED FEVER!

Prisoners to fashion! HAHAHA. Whatever...

We make quite bad prisoners! HAH!

Group discussions!

SINGAPORE FASHION FESTIVAL 2006, DAY 3!

Escada show! My rack. My model's name is Michelli. :)

Well, that's ME, SITI and RONALD! Standing in front of the words LANCOME for tomorrow's show at night!

Racks and racks of PINK CLOTHES!! ARRGHHH!!! Hahahaha.

ME, with the shades from the show! It's NOT FROM ESCADA, let me tell you. It's like from some shop at Far East going at $10! HAHAHAHA. I'm not kidding! But it's NICE right! :P

This frggin' security tag thing is found on one of Ronald's outfit just like half an hour before the show! It also could not be tampered with, because the mechanism of it is that it will release INK onto the outfit and will cause, obviously, DAMAGE! We alerted the people in charge and they LAUGHED at it! Haha. Then everyone started to check if they have this problem with their outfits too. None others did.

Then the ESCADA LADY CAME TO THE RESCUE! With what I thought a GIANT STAPLER! HAHAHHAHA. How fucking dumb. It's actually some portable security thingy they use to get those little thingys out from the outfits.

Backstage when they've all got dressed up in OUTFIT #1! Michelli is the one on the left. I really pity her, you know. Because it's soooo fucking freezing cold in The Tent! And for outfit 1 and 2. She just have a jacket on with NOTHING INSIDE! No top, NOT EVEN BRA! Can you imagine how cold she will be? When she came back for quickchange, after removing her jacket, I can see her SHIVERING man! GOSH.

This is some other model, I can't remember her name... Tatlia? I think so... I love the shirt she's rocking. It has small little crystals/rhinestones details on it. It's awesome. She's also a nice model! AND AND, SEE THE SHADES SHE'S WEARING? Hahahaha!

Siti and the stylist from Escada fixing Tabata up. SEE! Pink trenchcoat. PINK! PINK! PINK! OMG... Hahaha. But it's nice lah. The model, Tabata, is also very nice... I helped her with her shoes and top at quickchange 2!

Models at the line-up before the show. And yes... This show are female models only! Hahaha. Some of my friends from SFF told me they saw the male models walking about Orchard Road shopping or doing nothing. HAHAHA. So funny.

Michelli and I. This is her third and final outfit. Me and Siti call it the 'Macik' dress! Or translated as 'Auntie' dress! Hahahaha. We just kept laughing at it. BUT ONCE MICHELLI HAD IT ON, SHE WAS TOTALLY ENCHANTING. Alot of the other gowns were also absolutely F A B U L O U S! But I could not get pictures of them. Oh well...

Ya lah, ya lah! I'm short lah!! Hahahaha.

Tunde and I. She's another really cool model. She's also from Hungary, just like Bettee.

Ya lah, ya lah! I got big nostrils lah! I don't know how come it opened up when I was taking this photo. HAHAHA. Next time must be careful! WATCH OUT, BANANAS!

END OF SHOW.

I flew down to the recording studio. And recorded a song. There's still another song... Will need to go back later in the morning! We have no time. I'm sooo fucking stressed out! Because of school... Because of my workload that just keeps PILING, instead of it getting lesser! Assessment is just less than a month away! I HAVE ALOT TO CATCH UP!!!!! Long hours at rehearsals... Long hours at Fashion Festival....

UGH!!! I NEED MORE TIME!

ME, "NANAS" and "DALLEN". After recording...

I really am enjoying blogging now! I love being able to share my experiences and being able to have somewhere to express somethings of mine. It's just awesome. Thank you to those who have been following my posts regularly!

Singapore Fashion Festival 2006, Day 2!

Yes, I can post my pictures already!

So, on sunday I was at Singapore Fashion Festival 2006, Day 2.
I did a Robinsons and Fox show as a dresser and then in the night, I did Ashley Isham's show as an usher.

This is my rack at the Robinsons' show. We had to be there at 10AM.

Then we just hung out at the 'voulnteer's office' then we went backstage and got to work,

First, we gotta check if all the outfits tallied with the little piece of paper hanging together with it. It has descriptions and all in it. There are also pictures of the model wearing their outfits stuck onto the rack. Can refer to that to see how to dress him/ her. Then gotta arrange the outfits together as according to which goes first. From left to right.

After which, we gotta remove all the tags from the clothes and accessories. The accessories are all in the "auntie" plastic bags which I have removed from my rack and neatly arranged them with the shoe boxes.

Then, we gotta use black duct tape to tape the bottom of the shoes the models will be rocking. Cause when the shoes are returned to like Nine West and all, they can re-sell them. Quite cheapo right??!

Then you gotta steam or iron the clothes.

Then, sometimes, you need to do another fitting with the model. BTW, one dresser is in charge of one model. We're allowed to choose. Like in my case, they wanted my model to re-fit into the black dress you see on the rack. Because it's nicer than the white dress, third from the left... The black dress' too big for her. It's a size 10. She's an 8. So they had to safety pin the side.

That's about it.

You can see there's a fridge of Coke Light there. We can just feel free to take! :) There's also a fridge of Voda Voda. :)

Slacking, with nothing else to do. HAHA.

The FIRST EVER MODEL I DRESSED! Bettee! PLUS, SHE'S SUCH A NICE PERSON! This is her first outfit. She's sharing shoes with another model, that explains why she's shoeless. I told you the shoe lenders are cheapos! Lend one pair only.

The models at the line-up right before the show begins.

Me and Bettee with the third and final outfit after the show. Couldn't take with outfit 2, though I really liked it. And by the way, the bloody pearl necklace she's wearing gave me ALOT of problem! She came running in after outfit 2, then she changed into this. I had to put on the necklace for her. BUT THE BLOODY CLASP ON IT WAS SO TINY! I couldn't get it through! Then some stylist came and took her to the line-up and they managed to get it in RIGHT BEFORE SHE WENT OUT! Hahaha. It is THAT hectic

Denise Keller and I.

Fox show. My rack. My friends and I decided to do male models for this show. And oh oh, we also gotta write our name on the yellow paper above the rack. Just to show others that that model's taken already...

Jonathan and I. The model i dressed for Fox. I look bloody hideous!

Michelle and her rack at the Fox show.

The models all gathered at the entrance of the stage for the finale.

Osny, me and Mario. They are 2 other models of the Fox show. They're all funny people. Know why their body is glowing?? HAHA. Because they had Johnson and Johnson baby oil rubbed all over them for the "Brazillian Heat" look. HAHAHA. Even the chicks.

Zurah and I.

This is LILY COLE. AKA Ms-$50,000-per-show!

Actually there's a story when we took this photo. We were all having a break, she was too. We met her outside. And she was with someone, we reckon her manager or PA or something. So when 4 of us approached them, they were initially chatting and we interuptted POLITELY. My friend asked first, "Can I get a picture with you?"

Then the manager said to Lily, "It's so annoying..." Refering to people (US) keep wanting a picture taken with Lily. But Lily said, "It's okay."

Then after that, they continues their conversation when we were still there. Then I went up to her and ask, "Can i gat a picture taken with you?"

Then Lily turned to her manager or something and said "I feel like a statue!"

WHAT THE FUCK??! I don't know how to judge Lily from just these 3 minutes man! Totally... But I know for sure her manager or friend is a TOTAL BITCH. Because there's one time, after this incident, she totally corner-eyed me and gave me a fucking snide look. BIG FUCK HUH! Bitch! She's not even BLOODY LILY COLE!

Enough of her.

Nisha representing LaSalle-SIA (AKA partner-in-crime), ME representing NAFA and Cynthia representing Raffles Design. HAHAHA! All the volunteers from major art school in Singapore gather to make SFF'06 a success! There's also someone I got to know and she's from TP apparel design. Min. She's cool too. Will get a picture with her.

Ashley Isham's runway in preparation! Those awesome lanterns you see on the runway are specially flown in. They're really nice!

OH OH, MAY I ADD IN.

ME, Jon Jonsson and Mich. We met him backstage! He's here for the Ashley Isham show. By the way, if you don't know who he is... He's the winner of the male version of America's Next Top Model, Manhunt. It was previously aired on Star World and then on Channel 5, if I did not remember wrongly... And he's not that tall, for a model... Mich's like 171. So I reckon he's like 175?

Ms Lily strutting her stuff on the runway. This is taken at the rehearsal. May I also add that Lily's the same age as me. 18 this year! GOSHH.

I like this picture. Taken at the show. OH YA. I also met WENDY CHENG AKA XIAXUE AKA BOMBSHELL! Pity I could not get a picture with her or talk to her. I FINALLY MET HER! After all the "long necks" at clubs. HAHAHAHAHA!

End of show. Mr Ashley Isham with Lily Cole.

Mr Ashley Isham, ME and Mich. We got hold of him backstage after his show! Wahahaha! I look fucking fat there. Ashely's skinny like anything.

Bettee and Me, again. I met her outside of The Tent. She was watching herself from the big screen that was airing the Ashley Isham show that has just ended. Haha. She's really cool lah. She's from Hungary and started modelling for only half a year! I have to say she's pretty good for the time she's been modelling!

_The End.

Later in the afternoon, I gotta go off early from Communication Skills class to go down for the Escada show! I will be doing dresser again. It's gonna be sooooo stressful fun! Love the adrenaline! HAHAHA. Guess I'm really into this industry!

Goodnight, Bananas. It's already 3.10AM. HAHAHAHA. Gotta get up in about 4 hours.

Hur-Hur!
